During the height of the war on drugs, many stores removed the term Drugstore from their signage and replaced it with the more politically correct term Pharmacy. A PHARMACY is the health profession that links the health sciences with the chemical sciences and it is charged with ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs. The scope of pharmacy practice includes more traditional roles such as compounding and dispensing medications, and it also includes more modern services related to health care, including clinical services, reviewing medications for safety and efficacy, and providing drug information. We will be able to sell generic drug prescriptions at reduced prices by carefully maintaining efficiencies and effective operations and by targeting a specific segment of the market or with over the counter and prescribed medication to our customer. Aside from catering generic medicines, we will be able to sell miscellaneous items such as cosmetics, tissues, toothbrush, candy, magazines, as well as light refreshment and etc. We believe that providing over†the†counter (OTC) medications that compliment prescription and miscellaneous items can create a â€Å"one†stop†shop† for the customer. For employees, a more comprehensive line of front†end and over the counter items that consist of items that may be needed during the work day such as tissues, toothbrush can create an added customer convenience. In both instances, providing non†prescription items can eliminate the need for the customer to travel to other settings that offer prescription services. When considering non†prescription items for product placement, durable medical equipment (DME) should also be considered for resell. By focusing on this segment it gives us additional efficiencies we avoid disruptions in cash flow often associated with insurance payments and we can eliminate unnecessary services for the type of knowledgeable, repeat customer taking maintenance-type medication. Our pharmacy will operate from one store that will serve walk-in customers or those persons visited personally and buying over the counter. We sell also miscellaneous items such as candies, cosmetics, toiletries, baby care products and medical or surgical products to customers for a one-stop-shop experience. We believe that in selling other merchandise assortments except for a generic medicine will serve convenience to our target customer. Our propose location is in the corner of Jalleville Subdivision along Quirino Avenue San Dionisio Paranaque City with a lot area of 25m long and 20m wide. It consists of two (2) POS, shelves, waiting area with seats, parking lot, fire extinguisher in case of emergency and a room for employees with one (1) comfort room. We put three (3) computers with systems including the price per quantity item. This will help the customer to canvass the price for their prescribe medication and other items by asking a pharmacist. We put a storage area where we can store our new delivered products. The pharmacy is fully air conditioned to maintain the quality of our products especially medicines. We hire people to man the pharmacy in a day to day operation. It consists of a one (1) General Manager, Supervisor, Registered Pharmacist, and three (3) Pharmacy Assistant. The Medicure Generic Pharmacy anticipates serving continuously from seven (8) o’clock in the morning up to nine (9) in the evening everyday from Mondays to Sundays. Moral Theory and Personal Relationships In his article "The Schizophrenia of Modern Ethical Theories," Michael Stocker argues that mainstream ethical theories, namely consequentialism and deontology, are incompatible with maintaining personal relations of love, friendship, and fellow feeling because they both overemphasise the role of duty, obligation, and rightness, and ignore the role of motivation in morality. Stocker states that the great goods of life, i.e. love, friendship, etc., essentially contain certain motives and preclude others, such as those demanded by mainstream ethics.11 In his paper "Alienation, Consequentialism, and the Demands of Morality," Peter Railton argues that a particular version of consequentialism, namely sophisticated consequentialism, is not incompatible with love, affection and acting for the sake of others. In the essays "War and Massacre" and "Autonomy and Deontology," Thomas Nagel holds that a theory of absolutism, i.e. deontology, may be compatible with maintaining personal commitme nts. The first objective of this paper is to demonstrate that despite the efforts of both Railton and Nagel, consequentialism and deontology do not in fact incorporate personal relations into morality in a satisfactory way. This essay shows that Stocker’s challenge may also hold against versions of Virtue Ethics, such as that put forth by Rosalind Hursthouse in her article "Virtue Theory and Abortion." The second objective of this discussion is to examine criticisms of Stocker made by Kurt Baier in his article "Radical Virtue Ethics." This essay demonstrates that in the end Baier’s objections are not convincing. Stocker begins his paper by arguing that modern ethical theories fail because, by and large, they deal only with the reasons and justifications for people’s actions and ignore people’s motivations. This failure to address the role of motivation has led to a form of schizophrenia in an important area of value;22 people are unable to reconcile their motives with the moral justifications for their actions. Stocker highlights the constraints that motives impose on both ethical theory and the ethical life in order to show that only when justifications and motives are in harmony can people lead the good life. Stocker believes that mainstream ethical theories, like consequentialism and deontology, make it impossible for people to reconcile their reasons and motives because these theories demand that people perform acts for the sake of duty or for the good, as opposed to because they care about the people who are affected by their actions.

The middle east empire faced few major difficulties in adapting to the various challenges  presented by the west. Few of them were : Economic : Discovery of new trade routes to Asian countries and the vast continent of  America, slashed the monopoly of the middle east empires as a important junction between the  continents of Asia and Europe. Trade activities slowed down. Simultaneously, in an effort to  cope with the modern technology and industrialization, they borrowed huge loans from the  European nations. Subsequently the debt rose to alarming extents. Reduced geographical  importance was at the base of the economic problems.  Weak rule and policy failures: The rising sentiments of nationalism saw many factions grow  strong enough to form a nation of their own. Here ethnicity played a major role. Greece and  Serbia are examples to prove this point. These nations became independent, resulting into  disintegration of the large empire.   On the other hand, European giants, backed by their  technological and economic advantages, accessed many empires. Accession of Egypt by the  British is an example of such European invasion. The reason underlying the success of these  steps was weakness of the rulers. They failed in evolving policies which could meet the  aspirations of the changing social patterns. Cultural gap: The empires of the middle-east were under the heavy and only influence of  Islam. This was the base of certain amount of deafness to the changes occurring in Europe. The  rulers were not agile enough to sense the implications of the developments of Europe, because of  the inherent rigidities of Islam. A classic example is the non tolerance towards all the other faiths  except Islam, by all the rulers, until the late 19th century. Effort was made to repair the damages  done by bringing changes which gave equality to all the faiths, but it was too late by then.
